The home has been thoughtfully renovated with comfort and simplicity in mind. A brand-new eat-in kitchen features clean finishes, generous natural light, and a dedicated coffee and tea nook with oversized lounge chairs overlooking the backyard and the protected marshlands of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Furnishings are intentionally curated to feel spacious, calm, and uncluttered.
The screened porch—elevated approximately eight feet above grade—creates a peaceful vantage point among the trees. It’s the perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or unwinding at the end of the day while listening to birds and feeling the coastal breeze.
Central air ensures comfort during warmer months, and DreamCloud mattresses and pillows provide a restful night’s sleep. A dedicated workspace makes it easy to balance work and relaxation.
Location is one of this home’s greatest strengths. Cape Porpoise Square is just a five-minute walk, offering local restaurants, a gourmet market, grocery store, gallery, and boutique shops. Three additional restaurants sit along the Cape Porpoise Pier. Goose Rocks Beach is three miles away, and Kennebunk Beach is just four miles away. Dock Square’s shopping, dining, and galleries are a short drive.
Mills Road connects Cape Porpoise to Goose Rocks Beach and includes newly added bike paths, making it popular for cyclists and pedestrians. Just steps from the house, Marshall Point Road winds through woods and marshland, offering scenic access to the Rachel Carson Preserve.
The home comfortably accommodates four adults in two bedrooms. We do not allow additional sleeping arrangements in other areas of the house in order to maintain the integrity and comfort of the space.
Guests have full access to the house, screened porch, and front and side yards (no basement access). Keyless entry allows for a seamless arrival, and we are always available should you need assistance or recommendations.
